The Royal Copenhagen City Half

A flat half marathon on closed roads through Copenhagen. The route starts at the harbour in Nordhavn and passes Kastellet, Amalienborg, Nyhavn, the Black Diamond and Lille Langebro before finishing at Royal Arena in Ørestad. Flat asphalt with under 16 metres of elevation, long straight stretches and few turns—suitable both for your first half marathon and for chasing a new PR.

The first edition in April 2026 had 2,758 finishers from 66 nations. Around 10,000 runners are expected in 2027.

Start at 09:30, 2 minutes from Orientkaj Metro. From the finish, it’s 10 minutes by metro to the airport. The entry fee includes chip timing (RACE RESULT), a medal, a digital certificate, refreshment stations approximately every 5 km and free baggage transport from start to finish.
