Race description
Gold Fever — Denmark’s first SplitRace tournament. A free running game in the streets of Aarhus: 12 segments (0.4–1.9 km) are mapped around the city, and 7 of them form a hidden “golden chain” — nobody knows which ones, or in what order. Find them. Run them. Chase the times.
No mass start and no entry fee: run whenever you want, as often as you want, throughout 17 October – 1 November. The app measures your times via GPS. You earn points for each golden segment based on how close you are to the fastest time — women are scored against the fastest woman, men against the fastest man. Extra points go to the first runners to unlock a golden segment — and the tournament’s biggest bonus goes to the first to complete the whole chain in the correct order.
This is the first edition — a pilot for a maximum of 30 runners. Your feedback will shape the game.
